Caliper overview

Caliper runs a one-question “how did you hear about us” survey inside your app, once, after first open — and writes the answer where your attribution stack already lives: as install-level custom events in Adjust or AppsFlyer, rows in your warehouse, and a morning digest in Slack.

How the pieces fit

1. The SDK (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter) renders the survey and handles timing, randomization, and skip behavior.
2. The taxonomy keeps answers classifiable — closed options tuned per category, with auto-suggest layering for creators and shows.
3. The sync layer forwards each response as a custom in-app event through your MMP’s SDK-to-SDK event API, attached to the install.
